  • Helped shape the target architecture and wrote code for the split — starting as the domain specialist, now leading it as Tech Lead: technical decisions, solution design, and breaking epics into workable tasks.
  • Extracted the routing service first — order creation, status management and the control-tower view — the most complex domain carved out of the monolith so far.
  • Followed with services for carrier integrations, hub management, and fleet load/unload operations.
  • The legacy Symfony monolith was fragile: a bad deploy could take the whole environment — and every customer’s access — down. Independent services gave the team confidence in deploys and room to work on isolated domains in parallel.
  • Lead 6 engineers (3 junior, 3 mid-level): code review, technical mentoring and architecture calls.
  • Ongoing since 2024, running alongside other initiatives — an epic measured in quarters, not sprints.
